ARCTIS supports the sharing and reuse of educational and research materials. This page explains how to identify the permissions that apply to content on arctiscenter.com.

For educational and research materials explicitly marked CC BY 4.0. The scope and exclusions are explained below.
Scope of the licence
Selected educational and research materials are available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0), where explicitly indicated. Other content remains subject to the rights and permissions stated with each item. Logos, institutional emblems and third-party materials are excluded unless otherwise stated.
This notice does not place the entire website under CC BY 4.0. Look for a licence statement on the relevant page, document or download. A general link to this page does not itself license an individual item.
Reusing material marked CC BY 4.0
You may copy, redistribute, translate and adapt material explicitly released under CC BY 4.0, including for commercial purposes. You must provide appropriate credit, link to the licence and indicate any changes. Retain supplied copyright, licence and disclaimer notices as required by the licence. Do not imply that ARCTIS, VIZJA University or the authors endorse your use.
You must not impose additional legal restrictions or technological measures that prevent others from exercising the rights granted by the licence. The permission cannot be withdrawn from users who comply with its terms. The official CC BY 4.0 page links to the full legal terms, which govern reuse.
Attribution
A practical credit should identify the author or organisation named with the material, its title, the source link, the licence and any changes you made. For example: “{Title}, {credited author or organisation}, {source URL}, CC BY 4.0. Translated and adapted; changes indicated.” Replace the placeholder fields with the actual details of the item.
Excluded and third-party content
ARCTIS and VIZJA University logos, the European Union emblem and other institutional or project marks are not covered by this general notice. Their use is subject to the relevant rights and applicable rules. Photographs, illustrations, articles, presentations and other third-party content retain their own rights and licence notices. A licence already attached to a third-party item continues to apply to that item.
Publication on this website does not transfer ownership or automatically authorise reuse. Copyright permissions also do not necessarily cover privacy, image rights, trademarks or other rights. Exceptions and limitations provided by applicable law remain unaffected.
Contributing materials
Materials should be marked CC BY 4.0 only with the authority of the relevant rightsholder. Authors and contributors should identify any excluded third-party elements and supply their credit and permission information. Project-specific licensing requirements should be checked before publication.
Questions and permissions
If the licence of an item is unclear, or you wish to request permission for a use not already authorised, contact y.kapranov@vizja.pl with the page URL and a description of the intended use. Enquiries concerning another rightsholder may need to be referred to that person or institution.
